Martin Smart RIBA

Martin graduated from Nottingham University in 1983. He has a broad range of experience, working on many high profile projects nationwide. These include new higher education accommodation, re-ordering of the Great Hall at Lincoln’s Inn, masterplanning for local charitable organisations and the completion of high quality, individual residential schemes for private clients.

He is passionate about improving living and working environments through good design. He enjoys building relationships with clients and other members of the construction team to create buildings of excellence. He has worked with Simon for more than 10 years and they have built a reputation for innovative and striking buildings through attention to detail.

In his spare time Martin plays in the Warwickshire squash leagues and enjoys both road and off-road cycling. He has an interest in motorsport and he is a former karting champion. He represented Great Britain from 1974-1980 and his successes include winning the British Junior Championships, winning the European Team Championships and finishing third in the World Championships.
