Leasowe House is a Regency style property located on the edge of a village in rural Oxfordshire, on the edge of the Cotswolds.
The project involved the replanning of existing accommodation and an extension to create a family kitchen and dining area. The result is a substantially glazed garden room which directly engages with the garden and long distance views beyond.
The new structure sits over an existing raised terrace with a dominant projecting roof to give shading to the large door and window openings, which can be opened up to allow the interior and exterior spaces to become one. The use of painted render and timber frame blend well with the setting.
