Significant progress at ‘Ombu’

Construction of this substantial private house in Henley-on-Thames began in November 2010. After seven months, the roof covering is now on and the building is taking shape. The whole construction team is looking forward to the fitting of the cedar weather boarding, which is due shortly.

Hayward Smart have continued to develop internal fit-out drawings for bathrooms and bedrooms alike, and have worked up details of the steel staircase. A computer model has been produced to demonstrate how the single piece of tubing wraps from ground up to first floor.

The project is due for completion in October this year.
