Hill View is a new timber framed building, which is located on the edge of a Cotswold village, is ancillary to the main house and provides 180m2 of accommodation including a double garage, workshop and studio on the ground floor, and offices at first floor.
The building sits on the north boundary wall, which has been rebuilt in traditional drystone. This location has resulted in a south facing aspect and the creation of a new private and sunny courtyard garden.
The building is clad in Douglas Fir weatherboarding of contrasting textures, which will be left to naturally silver. Sawn featheredge boards to the long elevations over sail grooved boards between timber uprights to the gables, which in turn defines the setting out for the glazing.
